# $RIBBIT Token

## Rarity Based Staking

Froggy Friends will use **Rarity Based** **Staking** pioneered by our friends over at Sappy Seals. Froggies earn daily $RIBBIT tokens based on their rarity category using our [Rarity Sniper](https://raritysniper.com/froggy-friends) rankings. Tiers, Ranks and Daily $RIBBIT accrual are as follows.

## RIBBIT Staking Boosts <a href="#boosts" id="boosts"></a>

You've met the Froggies but have you met the [Friends](/froggy-friends/friends.md)? Each Froggy can be paired with a Friend with a unique staking boost. Friends will be purchasable with $RIBBIT but will come with a big price tag. Save up your tokens to purchase a Friend pair-able with your Froggy and receive a unique staking boost. **A Froggy can only pair with one Friend at a time**. Meet the five Friends who can join your Froggies on their journey.

## RIBBIT Tokenomics

Our system will be designed to balance the $RIBBIT ecosystem and ensure sustainability. $RIBBIT purchased on the marketplace will be transferred to the community wallet for periodic burning of the circulating supply as needed. When $RIBBIT is first launched the circulating supply starts at zero until holders begin staking. \

Here's a breakdown of tokens issued in total, to the team, to the community wallet reserves and to the circulating supply:

* 500,000,000 $RIBBIT Supply
* 378,000,000 $RIBBIT in Circulation
* 100,000,000 $RIBBIT to Community Wallet
* 10,000,000 $RIBBIT to Fonzy
* 10,000,000 $RIBBIT to Mayan<br>

## Vesting Period

$RIBBIT allocated to the team will be issued starting one year from launch date:&#x20;

* On April 28, 2023 the team will receive 50% of it's allocations
* On April 28, 2024 the team will receive 50% of it's allocations
