# Friends
Froggy holders will be able to purchase Friends using $RIBBIT tokens on the Froggy Friends Marketplace on June 10th @ 6pm PST. **Friends are not a new collection**, they are paired with your Froggy in your NFT image. Each friend gives your Froggy a [staking boost](/froggy-friends/usdribbit-token.md#boosts) based on tier and will join your Froggy in Worldwide Webb!
A Friend and it's accompanying boost can only be paired with one Froggy and is burned as soon as you pair them.
## Six Genesis Friends
Genesis friends are Froggy Friends' original friends that mark the genesis of the Friend staking boost system. Genesis Friends have a limit of one per wallet to ensure a fairer distribution among holders. Here are the six genesis friends that debut on the $RIBBIT marketplace!
### 1. Rabbit Friend
There are **200 Rabbit Friends** available for **700 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 5% staking boost.\
### 2. Bear Friend
There are **150** **Bear Friends** available for **1,800 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 10% staking boost.

There are **75** **Red Panda Friends** available for **5,000 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 15% staking boost.
### 4. Cat Friend
There are **10 Cat Friends** available for **10,000 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 20% staking boost.
### 5. Unicorn Friend
There are **5** **Unicorn Friends** available for **100,000 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 30% staking boost.
### 6. Golden Tiger Friend (1/1)
There is only **1** **Golden Tiger Friend** available for **300,000 $RIBBIT** that provides a 35% staking boost.
## 5 Collab Friends
Collab Friends are partnerships with other web3 communities that grant us permissions to use their NFT model as a friend in our marketplace for holders to pair with their froggies. To purchase a collab friend **you must own the collaborating project NFT** **as well as a Froggy Friend** **in your wallet at the time of purchase**.
Collab Friends have a limit of one per wallet to ensure a fairer distribution among holders. Here are the five collab friends who will make their debut on the $RIBBIT Marketplace!
### Bao Friend
There are **5** **Bao Friends** available for **700 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 10% staking boost.
### Roo Troop Friend
There are **5 Roo Troop Friends** available for **700 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 10% staking boost.
### Squishi Friend
There are **5 Squishiverse Friends** available for **700 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 5% staking boost.
### Morie Friend
There are **5 CryptoMorie Friends** available for **700 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 5% staking boost.
### Kaiju Friend
There are **2 Kaiju Kings Friends** available for **1,000 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 10% staking boost.
## 2 Winter Collab Friends
### Lil Pudgy Friend
There are **10 Unique Lil Pudgy Friends** airdropped for those who filled out the collaboration form and were chosen. Each will provide a 5% staking boost. (Due to current marketplaces transitioning to optional royalties, the royalty deal is no longer appropriate.)
### Sappy Seal Friend
There are **25 Sappy Seal Friends** available for **500 $RIBBIT** each that provide a 5% staking boost. Must own a Sappy Seal to claim and the Seal must be unstaked at the time of claiming and in your wallet!
## Do I have to pay gas to buy a Friend?
Purchasing Friends on the marketplace with $RIBBIT will require a gas fee.
## Do I have to pay gas to pair a Friend?
Pairing your Friend and applying the boost to your Froggy will require a gas fee.
## Can I pair multiple Friends?
Only one Friend can be paired with a Froggy at a time.
## Can I upgrade my Friend?
Yes you can purchase a higher tier Friend boost for your Froggy with $RIBBIT tokens on the Froggy Friends Marketplace. To upgrade to a new boost you will have to unpair your existing Friend and they will be gone forever.
## How do I unpair a Friend?
You will be able to unpair a Friend from you Froggy on the website. Unpairing will require a gas fee.
## Can I lose my boost?
When you sell a Froggy that's paired with a Friend the new owner receives the staking boost that comes with the Friend.
